Find the right people to talk to

Tribe helps people connect based on what they actually do — their skills, interests, and real-world activity — so that when two people connect, both already know it’s worth it.

The Problem

It is hard to find the right person.

You might need help, want to learn something, collaborate, or meet people — but you don’t know who to reach out to, and even if you do, you don’t know if the interaction will be worth their time or yours.

Most platforms optimize for visibility, not fit.

What Tribe Is

Tribe is a system for making better connections by using signals — attributes, confirmations from others, and requirements — to help people find and connect with the right person at the right time.

How the App Works

  1. Create a profile
Add attributes that describe what you do, know, or are looking for.
  2. Get cosigns
Other users can confirm your attributes based on real interaction.
  3. Search for people
    Find others using specific attributes.
  4. Set or meet requirements
Users can define who is allowed to contact them based on attributes or cosigns.
  5. Request connection
Send a request to connect, collaborate, learn, or work together.
  6. Connect in the real world
Scan QR codes to instantly connect with people or places.
  7. Participate in interactions
Once accepted, interactions can include mentorship, work, events, or collaboration.

Current Features

  • Profiles with attributes that describe skills, interests, and intent
  • Cosigns to confirm attributes based on real interaction
  • Search for people using attribute-based matching
  • Rules that control who can contact you
  • Contact requests to initiate connections
  • Services and mentorship offered by users
  • Announcements and events for group interactions
  • QR code scanning for real-world onboarding and connection
  • Interaction tracking after connections are accepted

Why Tribe Works

Tribe shifts connection from guessing to knowing.

Instead of reaching out blindly, people connect with shared context — attributes, confirmations, and requirements — so both sides understand the value of the interaction before it happens.
